Who we are

GALILEO INFORMATION CENTRE BRAZIL

The purpose of the Galileo Information Centre brazil (GIC-Br) is to raise awareness about GALILEO – the European Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS).

 

The Centre, established and funded by the European Union, will  be offering support and a privileged entry point for Brazilian stakeholders (industry and services) to establish partnerships and explore the wide range of GNSS applications made available through GALILEO.

CONSORTIUM MEMBERS

Company with extensive experience in systems / services / applications EGNSS (EGNOS / Galileo).
Company with extensive experience in specific consultancy for the Commission in matters related to Galileo, also having subsidiaries in Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Chile.
University of reference at European level in the development of material and training in EGNSS (EGNOS / Galileo).
Ineco is a global reference point in transport engineering and consultancy and has a relevant role as main subcontractor of the European GNSS Service Centre (GSC), with subsidiaries in America in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and USA
Spanish Air Navigation Service Provider supporting the initiative as a based case on how Galileo is contributing to its business and strategy.
For hosting the GIC office and events. (accumulates support from INPE, ITA, IAeV, and other Campus institutions).
Representative of the GIC in Brazil, which a large expertise in institutional relations in the transport business.
Brazilian company, organizer of DroneShow, MundoGEO Connect and SpaceBR Show events. Content generator in the areas of drones, geolocation, environment, precision agriculture, smart cities, infrastructure and space.
Local university to bridge with UPC.
